Richmond running defender Oleg Markov has accepted a one-match sanction from the VFL's Match Review Panel for contact made with Coburg's Lochlan Dickson in the second quarter of Saturday afternoon's 84-point win.

Markov was reported for rough conduct against Dickson, with the incident assessed as careless conduct with medium impact and high contact.

The incident was classified as a two-match base sanction, but Markov accepted the reduced one-match ban with an early guilty plea.

The 23-year-old will be ineligible for both the senior side's Round 15 match against St Kilda and Richmond VFL's Round 13 match against Sandringham.
